In Noterro, once an invoice is created separately from an appointment, there isn't a direct way to attach that invoice back to an appointment. Invoices and appointments are typically linked when the invoice is created directly from the appointment itself.

Noterro does not have an Invoice template. Instead, the Invoice is autopopulated with information from your Noterro Account. The invoice will include details about your clinic information, Patient information, Service name with the amount and the Practitioner who performed it. The invoice will also include the Practitioner's signature and ID.
Is there a report that shows which appointments do not have invoices assigned?
You can generate an Events Report and add a column for Invoices.
If the card is already stored under one spouses account, can I use that stored card for the other spouses invoice?
To use a partner's credit card on their own profile, the Admin will need to add that card to the other profile.

The Patient will receive an invoice if a staff member sends it to the patient or they view it on their Portal.

You can only export one invoice at a time.

Invoices in Noterro are for amounts owed to the clinic, not for amounts the clinic owes to another party.
Can I link an invoice and receipt to a specific appointment after a payment has already been made?
No. Once an invoice has been created independently, it cannot be linked to an appointment afterward. To ensure the invoice and receipt are tied to a specific appointment, the invoice must be created directly from that appointment before payment is made.
Why is the refund not showing on the invoice?
A refund may not show on an invoice if the invoice price is not adjusted after the refund, especially for partially used or cancelled packages or memberships. Adjusting the invoice price balances it and marks it as paid, ensuring the refund reflects correctly on the invoice.
Can you filter invoices by practitioner?
No, you cannot filter invoices by practitioner.
Is there a symbol that indicates a session has been paid?
No, there is no symbol used to indicate a paid session. Instead, the word “PAID” will be displayed when a session has been successfully paid.
How do I make an invoice say that it is for a missed appointment?
To make an invoice say it is for a missed appointment, create the invoice and type "No Show" in the note field. You can do this from the Patient Profile page or from an existing Appointment, then add the missed service and adjust details like treatment date and practitioner as needed.

No. Receipts do not support preset messages. However, you can add custom messages to invoice footers and customise patient notification templates.
Can I create a quote or estimate in Noterro?

The delivery timing for invoice and receipt notifications is set to Instant and cannot be changed or scheduled. While you can fully customise the template content, the system does not support automatic scheduling for a later time.
How to show tax on an invoice?
To make a service taxable on invoices, the Admin must enable the clinic tax in the billing settings. Practitioners can also add and enable their own tax numbers in their profiles. This ensures the tax is applied and displayed on invoice items for services provided by the clinic or practitioner.
How do I find a record of emailed invoices?
We don’t have a specific report of a feature, but you can view the patient's Notification Logs to see the status of all emails sent, including invoice emails, with details like Sent, Delivered, or Bounced.
Can I find an invoice using a transaction date?
To look for an invoice using the transaction date, go to your billing page and adjust the date filter next to the Add Invoice button. You can select a Custom Range to pinpoint a specific date or time frame. Once you apply the filter, all transactions and generated invoices from that period will be displayed on your billing page.
Can I change an invoice after it’s been created? For example, can I adjust the price?
The invoice template cannot be changed or edited. Pricing details are based on the service price at the time the appointment was booked. If prices change after booking, decide whether to keep the current price or switch to the updated pricing when creating the invoice.
How do I add an additional email address to send Invoices to?
It is not possible to add an additional email address to send invoices to, as patients only have one email for communication in the system.
How can I delete a same-day invoice?
To delete a same-day invoice, ensure you act within 24 hours, as only Administrators can modify it after that. For credit card, cash, or account credit payments: delete the transaction first, then the invoice. For insurance payments: delete the Explanation of Benefits first, then the invoice. This process ensures proper deletion.
I sent an invoice, but receiver said there's no link to pay.
That’s expected; invoices emailed from Noterro do not include a direct payment link. Patients can pay outstanding invoices through the Portal. If needed, you can direct the patient to log in to the Portal to view and pay their outstanding invoice.
How to tell if the invoice was emailed?
You can click on the receipt and scroll to the bottom of the window. There, they'll find the "Last Sent" section, which shows the date and time the receipt was most recently emailed.
