Can patients/clients reply to SMS reminders?
The Noterro SMS messages are one-way only. If the patient replies to it, they get a friendly response letting them know that their response cannot be received by the clinic.
Can I add more than 1 SMS reminder per appointment?
Appointments are currently limited to 1 email, 1 SMS and 1 Voice reminder. It's on our roadmap to add more but we don't have an ETA.

Noterro does not send mass SMS messages.
Can I have a preview of what a text message reminder would look like?
Noterro does not provide a specific preview feature for text message reminders. However, you could book yourself a sample appointment and receive the SMS notification.

There is no follow-up SMS option available—only follow-up emails are sent.

No. Appointment confirmations are only available via the email reminder. SMS reminders don’t support tap-to-confirm.
Is there a way to check if a patient has their SMS appointment reminders turned off?
The patient needs to log into the Portal. Select the appointment they wish to see if their Notifications are enabled or disabled. On the Practitioner side, they need to go to their calendar, select the appointment and see if the Notifications are enabled or disabled.
Can patients confirm their appointment from the text reminder?
Patients cannot confirm an appointment via text reminder. Appointment confirmations are supported via email reminders only.
When does text message add-on restart?
The SMS notification add-on is based on a 30-day rolling capacity.
If a client responds to a text reminder, where does the message go?

If I switch from the legacy plan to the core plan can I do an add-on for the text reminders?

No, you only get 500 SMS segments; however, you can add additional segments if needed.

How to allow clients to reply to email confirmation?
Noterro also does not support two-way communication through notifications, so clients replying to reminders/confirmations isn’t a built-in messaging workflow.
If you want clients to contact the clinic, it’s best to include your clinic’s contact email/phone number directly in the notification template message.
