There are a few requirements that need to be met for the TELUS eClaims Preview button to appear on an invoice. They are:
- Invoice's Location: The invoice location must be set to one which is configured for TELUS eClaims, within your TELUS eClaims Settings. Note: If your clinic only has 1 active Location, then the Location option won't appear on the Invoice, it will be pre-selected but not visible.
- Invoice's Practitioner: The invoice items must only contain 1 practitioner, but the same practitioner can appear on more than 1 invoice item. That practitioner must be configured with the TELUS eClaims connection.
- Invoice's Billing Code: There must be at least 1 TELUS eClaims Billing Code on the invoice, and the billing code must be one which the practitioner on the invoice is permitted to the bill.
- Invoice's Claim: The primary claim on the invoice must be linked to an Insurer that is configured in your TELUS eClaims connection and is one that supports the processing of claims via TELUS eClaims. For example, Canada Life processes through TELUS eClaims, but Sun Life Financial does not.
