How do I adjust the calendar to weekly/daily view by default?
If you have more than one practitioner, the calendar will default to day view. We don't have a configuration for the default calendar view. It's on the roadmap, but no ETA.
Is there any way to turn off confirmation for booking?
When booking an appointment, you have the option to "Book" or "Book & Email". If you choose "Book" then the patient does not receive an email notification.
Is the chart automatically added when creating an appointment?
No, clinical notes are not automatically added to appointments. You would need to click "Add Note".
Can I duplicate an appointment?
No, you cannot duplicate appointments.
Can Noterro sync to the client's personal calendars when they book their appointments?
Not automatically, but when a patient books an appointment, they'll receive an email with an event within it. That event can then be added to their calendar.
Adjusting how a client is notified of an appointment, for that individual client only?
There is no way to tailor the notification settings for each client individually.
Can I add an internal note without attaching it to an appointment?
Internal notes are specifically designed to be added to appointments in Noterro.
Can I make a recurring appointment monthly?
In Noterro, you can set up a repeating appointment, but the platform currently supports weekly repetition for appointments. When you create a repeating appointment, you can select the weekly option to repeat it on specific days each week.
Can I email a client their past appointments all at once?
No, you cannot email a client their past appointments all at once through Noterro. You could run an Event report with the appropriate filters, save it to CSV, and send it.
Can appointments require approval?
Noterro doesn't offer appointment approvals at this time. It's on our roadmap, but no ETA.
Can I have an approval process for booking online?
Noterro does not currently offer an approval process for online bookings. Once a client books an appointment online, it is automatically added to the schedule without requiring additional approval.
Can I make my calendar start on a Monday?
Noterro does not currently offer the option to change the start day of the calendar week.
Can we send them together to the patient when they book an appointment online?
It is not possible to send two forms with form automation
Can I auto-import appointments from Clinicsense, or is it manually from a CSV file?
There isn't an automatic/syncing import from ClinicSense.
Where is the link to the calendar that my clients can see?
To view public links, go to your clinic settings, click Web Portal & App, and click View Public Links. You can copy any of the links and provide them to your Patients.
Can I hide appointment duration?
There isn't a setting to hide the appointment duration in the online booking portal.
How do I send a bulk email to patients to book their next appointment?
You cannot send bulk emails to Patients, but you can send follow-up emails to individual patients.
Can I have a patient pay for their appointment via email?
Patients can pay for their outstanding balances through the App under their billing section.
Can you send me the link to book?
Support calls can be located in your Noterro Account under the Help Center (Question Mark Icon).
Add announcements to calendar dates?
Noterro does not have a feature for making announcements on the Calendar. However, you can add a Break to a specific calendar date with an announcement note.
Is there a way to print out one client's future appointments?
To print the patient's future appointments, you need to toggle on show future appointments on the Patient invoice and print the invoice that has all of the upcoming appointments. Another option is to email the Patient their upcoming appointments from their Profile and Appointment section.
Is there a way to stop the calendar from changing from showing the week to showing only the current day?
In a multi-practitioner clinic, the calendar defaults to the day view when loaded. In a single-practitioner clinic, it defaults to the week view.
Is there any way to prevent people from booking more than two appointments?
Currently, Noterro does not have a specific feature that allows you to restrict clients from booking multiple appointments

Noterro appointment notifications are set clinic-wide. If you are looking to send additional personal email about the appointment, you would need to copy your patient's email and send it with your personal email account.

You are unable to deactivate the online booking for one time slot. You will need to disable all online booking.
How do I change 1 repeater opening to no booking option?
If you want to stop a repeating booking slot, open the calendar and select Manage Schedule. Choose the day that should not allow bookings, delete the availability, or add a break. The slot will show as unavailable.
How do you resend an appointment booked email to a client?
We don't have a feature specifically for resending appointments to a client. You can only email their upcoming appointments.
Can I modify an appointment to another client's name?
No, it’s not possible to change the client on an already booked appointment. You’ll need to cancel the existing appointment first, then create a new booking under the correct client name.
Can clients see appointments they booked previously if they are not accepted into the system by the provider?
Clients cannot see appointments they booked if they are not accepted by the provider, as denied patients and their appointments are deleted from the system.
Why Appointments notification for appointment update only an email option?
Appointment update notifications may have only the email option because Noterro offers three types of reminders (email, SMS, phone) but customization and default settings for each notification type vary. The system allows enabling or disabling reminders by default, which might limit some notifications to email only.
How to move a client's appointment with a technician to another technician's schedule?
Click on the appointment you would like to move and drag it to the new Practitioner who will be taking over.

How do I see patients who recently set up an account but have no appointment?
You can use the Client with No Appointments report to view patients who have set up an account but do not have any appointments booked.
Is there an internal note section for clients?
Yes. You can add internal notes to appointments. These notes are private and only visible to practitioners and admin users. Clients cannot see internal notes.
Is there a way to view recently deleted appointments?
No. There is no record of deleted appointments. To keep track of cancelled appointments, use the Appointment Status feature.
How can I tell if an appointment was booked by me or by a client online?
Check the appointment history. If the booking was made by the client, it was scheduled online. There is no specific icon to indicate online bookings.
How do I undo a deleted appointment?
Deleted appointments cannot be recovered once removed. However, cancelled appointments can be restored by changing their status from "Cancelled" to "Booked," which will instantly restore the original time, notes, and context.
How to allow one person to schedule another person's appointments?
To allow one person to schedule another's appointment, the clinic must add the scheduler to the family member's profile. Then, the scheduler logs in, clicks their initials, selects the family member's name, and follows the booking instructions. This setup must be done by the clinic beforehand.
I would like to know how returning clients are tracked. Is it based on setting an appointment in our calendar or checking our clients?
Returning clients are not tracked by a specific setting in the calendar or client list. Instead, clinics can manage this by creating services labeled for new patients and using appointment reports to monitor client types. There is no direct feature to track returning clients automatically.
How many appointments per month does each plan give you?
There is no cap or number of appointments you need to stay within per month. Each plan has an unlimited number of appointments.
I have mobile clients booked for 12 pm, which means I need to drive to them at 11:30. But I put them in on the app as mobile massages; however, the app allows someone to book right before them.
Noterro does not have a buffer time before appointments; only recovery and travel time are available at the end of the appointment.
I need to check my number of appointments for the month - how can I get that data?
To check your number of appointments for the month, generate an Appointment Report by logging in as Admin, going to Reports, selecting Events under the Patient section, and downloading the report as a CSV file. You can filter and sort this report by visit numbers to see appointment counts for the month.
How do I add the partner of a client who has booked a couples therapy session in my calendar?
It is not possible to add a second patient directly to a single appointment, as there is no dedicated couples session or multi-patient appointment feature. If the partner also needs to be tracked as a patient, you should create or use their separate patient profile and book a separate appointment for them. Alternatively, you can use the appointment notes to indicate that the session is a couples therapy session involving both partners.
If I click on the confirmed box for appointments, does that notify the client as well?
No, the client won't be notified.
How do I change the number of recurrent appointments for a client?
To change a recurring appointment, open the calendar and select the client’s repeating appointment, then click Edit. If you only need to adjust one occurrence, choose Save This One to detach it from the recurring series before making changes. If you want to stop repeating for a specific day, go to Manage Schedule and delete availability or add a break so the slot is unavailable.
Can I filter by appointment type when looking at invoices?
No. You cannot search by appointment type.
On the client's appointment, what does the + mean under history?
Under the appointment history, the entry indicates who booked the appointment. The plus (+) icon is simply a visual marker added to the system to clearly denote the creator or origin of the booking.
