If you prefer to see AM/PM (12-hour format) instead of 24-hour time in the time section of your clinical notes, this setting is controlled by your computer’s operating system, not directly within Noterro.
Noterro follows the time format configured on your device, so adjusting your system settings will update how time appears in the platform.
For Windows Users
Follow these steps to change your time format:
Open Settings on your computer.
Click Time & Language.
Select Language & Region.
Under Regional format, click Change data formats.
Adjust the following settings:
Short time
h:mm tt→ Displays 12-hour time with AM/PM
Long time
HH:mm→ Displays 24-hour time
To enable AM/PM, select the 12-hour format (h:mm tt).
For Mac Users
Follow these steps to change your time format:
- Click the Apple menu () in the top-left corner of your screen.
- Select System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).
- Click General.
- Select Language & Region.
- Under Time Format, toggle 24-Hour Time OFF.
When 24-Hour Time is turned off, your system will display 12-hour time with AM/PM.
Important Notes: After changing your system time format, refresh your browser or reopen Noterro for the changes to take effect. These changes affect how time is displayed across your entire device, not just within Noterro.
