While each migration process can be unique, below are the general steps we recommend to use. These steps assume you intend on using online booking, if you don't, then you can skip the steps related to online booking.
- Create your Noterro clinic
If you haven't already, you will need to create your Noterro clinic. - Setup your Noterro clinic
We recommend setting up your clinic while watching the Noterro Crash Course. If you're planning on importing appointments, then ensure that all practitioners, services and locations have been created. - Have your data migration call
Book your data migration call. In this call, we will learn about your specific situation and provide you with a recommended migration plan. We can answer any questions as well as export data from your existing provider including reviewing what data can be imported from specific providers. - We will import your data
While we import your data, we recommend being available in case we have any questions. We will let you know when it's complete via your support ticket. - Schedule your availability - Skip if you don't intend on using online booking.
Ensure that you've created all of your availability, and set up your online booking page so you're ready to accept new bookings once your Noterro online booking URL is shared. - Inform your patients - Skip if you don't intend on using online booking.
Let your patients know that you're switching online booking platforms, and that they should get an email invitation in the near future. - Ensure you're ready to accept appointments - Skip if you don't intend on using online booking.
If you plan to use online booking, ensure it is enabled and you have future availability setup, so you're ready to accept bookings in Noterro. - 🎉 Publish your new online booking URL - Skip if you don't intend on using online booking.
Publish your new online booking URL publicly and send any other communication needed. - Bulk invite your patients - Skip if you don't intend on using online booking.
Use the Bulk Patient Invite tool to send invitations to your patients who have an email address on file. Upon accepting the invitation, the patient will be able to login and book into their existing patient profile.
🤔 What if the patient doesn't have an email address on file?
You will need to let them know about your new online booking URL another way (eg: text message or call them). They can book online, and will create an account in the process. Once this happens, they appear on your dashboard and can be merged into the existing patient profile you have for them.
