If your clinic has duplicate patient profiles, you can merge them. However, you must review the two profiles carefully before combining them. Once the profiles are merged, the action cannot be reversed or undone.
Merging Duplicate Patient Profiles
Here's how to merge duplicate patient profiles from different sections of your portal:
Merging From the Home Page
- Go to the New Portal Accounts.
- Click on the Three Dots to the right of the patient’s name.
- Select Merge Profiles.
- Follow the merge steps.
Merging From the Patient Listing Page
- Click on Patient (top left header).
- Click on the Three Dots (right) of the patient you want to merge.
- Select Merge Profiles.
- Follow the merge steps.
Merging From the Patient Profile Page
- Search for the patient’s name.
- Select the patient you want to merge.
- Click on the Three Dots next to the patient’s name.
- Select Merge Profiles.
- Follow the merge steps.
Important Note: If there are two credit cards on each patient's profile, the source card will be selected. If only one credit card is present, it will be automatically selected by default.
