A transaction can be a payment, refund, or credit applied to the account. There are 3 primary ways in which you can unlink a transaction. Unlinking a transaction will move a payment into account credit.
Method One: From the Billing Activities page
- Click on the Billing Icon in the left navigation
- Click on the Transactions button
- Click on the Transaction (example, TRN-3)
- Click on the Unlink Button near the bottom of the page
- Click Yes, Unlink
Method Two: From the Patient / Client Profile page
- Click on the Patient's / Client's name
- Click on the Billing tab
- Click on the Transactions button
- Click on the Transaction (example, TRN-10003)
- Click on the Unlink Button near the bottom of the page
- Click Yes, Unlink
Method Three: From an Appointment
- Click on an Appointment from the calendar
- Click on the Invoice (for example, INV-3)
- Click on the Transaction (example, TRN-10003)
- Click on the Unlink Button near the bottom of the page
- Click Yes, Unlink
