Manage your transactions by deleting them when necessary. A transaction can encompass payments, refunds, or credits applied to an account. Below are the methods to delete a transaction effectively.
Delete a Transaction
Ensure you follow the steps diligently to remove transactions from your account. There are three primary methods available:
Method One: From the Billing Activities Page
- Click on Billing in the top left navigation.
- Click on the Transactions button.
- Click the Three Dots on the transaction (e.g., TRN-10003) listing line.
- Click on Delete.
- Type in “I Understand.”
- Click Delete.
Method Two: From the Patient Profile Page
- Click on the Patient's name.
- Click on the Billing tab.
- Click on the Transactions button.
- Click the Three Dots on the transaction (e.g., TRN-10003) listing line.
- Click on Delete.
- Type in “I Understand.”
- Click Delete.
Method Three: From an Appointment
- Click on an Appointment from the calendar.
- Click on the Invoice (e.g., INV-3).
- Scroll down and click on the Transaction (e.g., TRN-23762).
- Click on the Delete Button in the bottom right corner and follow the instructions.
Important Note: Deleting a credit card transaction in Noterro removes the transaction record, but it does not reverse the payment. The transaction remains on the Patient's credit card statement. You must log in to Square or Shift4 (formerly Worldline/Bambora) to process a refund.
