You may need to edit a Finalized Clinical Note for various reasons. Depending on when the note was created, there are different ways to do this.
Update a Finalized Clinical Note
Follow these steps to edit your finalized clinical note.
Before Seven Days
- Click on the Finalized Note.
- Click the Three Dots.
- Click "Revert to Draft" to change the finalized note back to a draft note.
After Seven Days
- Click on the Finalized Note.
- Scroll Down to the Addenda Section.
- Type your comments.
Important note: If you need to change a note beyond seven days since it was finalized, please submit a request, including the Clinical Note number. Optionally, this 7-day rule can be turned off for the Admin user of a clinic. If you would like this rule to be disabled for your clinic's Admin, please email support@noterro.com from the Admin email address of the clinic where you would like to request this rule to be disabled.

This doesn't help if i cant get back to the note and find addendum to "Revert to Draft". This is frustrating.
Is it possible to change the cost of the treatment in a finalized SOAP note? I noticed an incorrect price entered into a note and would like to correct it when I run the Finance report. Thank you!

Can I change a date on a Finalized note pasted the 7 days? Just discovered the mistake as I was reviewing my notes.
If you need to make a change to a note which is beyond 7 days since it was finalized, please submit a request, including the SOAP Note receipt number.
