Transfer the Usage of a Package to a Family Member

Allow a family member to redeem another family member's package, such as a parent allowing their child or dependent to use their package.

Update a List for Family Package Redemption

Follow these steps to allow a family member to redeem a package on behalf of another:

Step One: Consume Package for Parent's Invoice

1. Create an Invoice for the parent with an eligible service on it.
2. Redeem the Package on the parent’s invoice to consume the package usage.
3. Add a Note on the invoice indicating that the consumption is for their child or dependent.

Step Two: Create Discount

1. Click the Gear icon (top right header).
2. Select Billing.
3. Scroll to the Discount section.
4. Click Add New.
5. Label Discount Name as Package Transfer.
6. Set the Discount to 100%.
7. Apply the discount to Services.
8. Click Save.

Step Three: Create an Invoice for the Child

1. Create an Invoice for the child.
2. Click Edit on the Invoice.
3. Click Discount.
4. Add the Package Transfer discount to zero out the invoice.
