We've created a specific Jane App importing process for those looking to migrate to Noterro from Jane because the number of clinics migrating from Jane App to Noterro has increased. Follow the steps below, and skip any irrelevant to your import. This should be part of your overall migration process.
Requesting a Backup of your Clinic from the Jane App
This should include a zip file containing forms, notes, receipts, etc. We have found that the Jane App takes a few days to provide this, but download it to your computer once they do. Below is an example message you can send to support@jane.app.

Exporting your Patients
- Log in to the Jane App.
- Go to Reports.
- Select Patients.
- Click the 3-dot menu in the top right.
- Click Export to CSV.
Exporting your Appointments
- Log in to the Jane App.
- Go to Reports.
- Select Appointments.
- Filter by the desired Date Range (you can include past and future).
- Click the 3-dot menu in the top right.
- Click Export to CSV.
Exporting your Insurance Policies
- Log in to the Jane App.
- Go to Reports.
- Select Insurance Policies.
- Click the 3-dot menu in the top right.
- Select Export to CSV.
Booking a Migration Call to Transfer Your Files
You can book a migration call with one of our migration specialists. We'll answer any questions you have and securely transfer your files. Noterro will move your backup files into your Noterro account. We will upload the Patient data provided and the attachments (forms, notes, receipts, etc.) to each Patient accordingly. We'll let you know when your import is complete! 🥳
