Updating Claim Statuses
Modifying claim statuses enhances your ability to track the progress and outcome of claims more accurately. Here's a quick overview of different claim statuses you can manage:
- Draft: The claim has been created, but not yet submitted to the insurer.
- Submitted: The claim has been sent to the insurer.
- Approved: The claim has been submitted, and an EOB has been received, indicating initial approval.
- Rejected: The claim was submitted but was not accepted by the insurer.
- Paid: The claim submission was successful, and the payment has been received.
Updating Claim Statuses in Bulk
For handling several claims at once, follow these steps to update their statuses in bulk:
- Click on Billing (top left header).
- Select Claims in the sidebar.
- Go to Status in the sidebar.
- Click Edit Claims.
- Use the Switch to select the claims you want to update.
- Click Change Status to update the claim statuses.
