Occasionally, you may encounter overlapping availabilities in a Practitioner's Calendar when using online booking. For instance, one availability might be from 8:00 am-12:00 pm, while another extends from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Although the calendar might show available times, an error message can occur when attempting to book an appointment. To resolve this, you need to enable Double Booking to identify the issue, navigate to the affected date, and adjust the overlapping availabilities. Follow these two-part steps to correct the problem.
Enabling Double Booking
- Log in as the Admin.
- Click on the Gear icon in the top right header.
- Select Calendar from the menu.
- Scroll to the Double Booking section.
- Check Enable Double Booking.
Important Note: Remember to disable double booking after you have resolved the issue. The next step involves editing the overlapping availability.
Editing Availability
- Go to the Calendar.
- At the bottom of the left sidebar, click Manage Schedule.
- Click Edit on the overlapping availability.
- Edit the Time to remove the overlap.
- Click on Save.
After following these steps, the practitioner's calendar will accurately reflect their available booking times without conflicts, ensuring a smooth booking experience.
