Managing the status of Patient appointments is critical for maintaining an organized and efficient schedule. Once a Patient has booked an appointment, the status Booked will appear. You can efficiently manage and track your Patient's attendance through the Reports section or on the Patient's Profile.
Update Patient Status from Calendar
- Log in as Admin/Practitioner.
- Click the Calendar Icon.
- Click on the Appointment.
- Mark your Patient as Arrived, Late, No-Show, or Cancelled.
Update Patient Status from Patient Profile
- Search for the Patient's name.
- Click on Appointments (left sidebar).
- Besides the Appointment, click the dropdown menu and mark your Patient as Arrived, Late, No-Show, or Cancelled.
Update Patient Status from the Dashboard
- Click on Dashboard.
- Under Today's Appointments, click the downward arrow for the Practitioner of choice.
- Besides the Appointment, click the dropdown menu and mark your Patient as Arrived, Late, No-Show, or Cancelled.
Marking Appointments Cancelled
For cancelled appointments, you can also mark down the reason for the cancellation, send the Patient a notification, and view all cancelled appointments. Here is how to view your cancelled appointments:
- Go to Calendar.
- Click on the Appointment.
- Mark the Appointment Cancelled.
- Add in the Cancellation Reason (if desired).
- Check Notify Patient (if desired).
- Click Confirm
View Cancelled Appointments
Cancelled appointments are still visible on the calendar.
- Go to Calendar.
- Click to enable Show Cancelled Appointments (left sidebar).
Important Note: Cancelled appointments will be displayed in grey. You can update their status to Booked or Arrived if the time slot is available or if double booking is turned on.
