Efficient management of Patient appointment status is essential for keeping your schedule organized. Once a Patient books an appointment, it will appear with the status Booked. Manage and track your Patients' attendance seamlessly through the Reports section or directly on the Patient's Profile.
Update Patient Status from the Calendar
- Log in as Admin/Practitioner.
- Click the Calendar (top left header).
- Click on the Appointment.
- Mark your Patient as Arrived, Late, No-Show, or Cancelled.
Update Patient Status from the Patient Profile
- Search for the Patient's name.
- Click on Appointments (left sidebar).
- Beside the Appointment, click the dropdown menu and mark your Patient as Arrived, Late, No-Show, or Cancelled.
Important Note: Within the Patient Profile, a status report is also visible to see how many times a Patient has Cancelled, No-Show, Late or Arrived.
Update Patient Status from the Home
- Click on Home.
- Under Today's Appointments, click the downward arrow for the Practitioner of choice.
- Beside the Appointment, click the dropdown menu and mark your Patient as Arrived, Late, No-Show, or Cancelled.
Marking Appointments as Cancelled
For cancelled appointments, you can note the cancellation reason, send a notification to the Patient, and review all cancelled appointments. Follow these steps to manage cancelled appointments:
- Go to Calendar.
- Click on the Appointment.
- Mark the Appointment as Cancelled.
- Add the Cancellation Reason (if desired).
- Check Notify Patient (if desired).
- Click Confirm.
You can restore cancelled appointments by changing the status from "Cancelled" to "Booked" in seconds—original time, notes, and context will be instantly restored. Remember, if you delete an appointment, it cannot be recovered.
View Cancelled Appointments
Cancelled appointments remain visible on the calendar.
- To see cancelled appointments, go to Calendar.
- Click to enable Show Cancelled Appointments (left sidebar).
Important Note: Cancelled appointments are displayed in grey. You can update their status to Booked or Arrived if the time slot is available or if double booking is allowed.
