Setting up your clinic's web portal and branded app through Noterro allows seamless patient interaction and management. Here's how you can effectively configure and manage these settings.
Selecting a Web Address
Your Noterro web portal will be hosted on a subdomain of Noterro. Choose a subdomain that reflects your clinic's name, e.g., yourclinicname.noterro.com. This unique URL will serve as your clinic's online identity.
Enabling the Web Portal
- You can just navigate to the web portal settings.
- In the status section, check the Enable Portal option.
- Using the QR code on this page, ensure the portal is functional. The code can also be printed for physical distribution.
Integrating Google Analytics
If you are using Google Analytics for tracking, particularly GA4, please make sure that you input the correct tracking code in the analytics section of your portal settings.
Configuring Portal Features
You can select the features you want to enable in your web portal. These include:
- Online Booking: Allow patients to book appointments via the portal.
- Multi-language Support: Enable if you want your portal to be accessible in multiple languages.
- Waitlist: Allow patients to put themselves on a waitlist.
- Clinic Notes: Share notes with patients through the portal.
- Invoices and Receipts: Enable viewing/download functionality for patients.

Customizing the Clinic-Branded App
- Upload an icon for your app that will appear in the portal.
- Select an app name for directories and a short name for mobile views (max 12 characters).
- You can select a colour scheme for branding consistency.

The information section allows you to customize:
- Notice Bar: Display important notices.
- Clinic Information: Share basic details about the clinic.
Resource Display Settings
Arrange the order of resources like services, locations, and practitioners based on booking preference. You can choose card or list view for service display.
Portal Accounts Requirements
Patients must create an account to access online booking or portal features. First Name, Last Name, and Email Address are mandatory fields. Other fields like pronoun, date of birth, and mobile phone are configurable.
Online Booking
- Select appointment intervals (15 minutes, 30 minutes, etc.).
- Configure messages for when no bookings are found.
Agreements
Set up a booking agreement policy to inform patients about cancellation or payment policies—these need agreement upon initial booking.
Online Payment Policies
If connected with Square or Bambora, configure the payment policy; for example, it may require no payment upfront, credit card, or full payment.
Resource Management
Manage visibility and online booking settings for locations, practitioners, and services. Each should have a distinct checkmark to indicate availability for online booking.
Public Links and Portal Preview
Each resource page has a public link at the top right corner of your portal settings. Use these links to direct your website visitors to specific services, practitioners, or locations. To view your portal's public appearance, click on Open Portal.
