The Billing page within Noterro is your centralized hub for managing all aspects of your clinic's invoicing and billing operations. This guide outlines the distinct sections available on the Billing page and provides clear instructions on configuring each to meet your business needs. Utilizing these settings ensures that your invoices are accurate, professional, and reflective of your clinic's policies.

General Settings

The General section is dedicated to configuring invoice-related information. If your clinic is in Australia, it is essential to include your Australian Business Number (ABN) here, which will be displayed on all invoices. Also, you can set the initial invoice number to determine the sequencing of your invoices. There's an option to show or hide service durations, like a "60-minute service," on printed invoices. Many clinics prefer showing minimal invoice details; therefore, unchecking this option can be beneficial. Furthermore, a standard invoice footer message can be added—a space for personalized notes like "Thank you for your payment."

Discounts

Discounts created in this section can apply to both products and services. Once established, they can be applied either directly to a client or patient's profile or added to an individual invoice.

Clinic Taxes

Here, you can list the taxes applicable to your clinic services. Input the tax name, number, and percentage to ensure this information is automatically included whenever services are billed.

Payment Methods

This section catalogs all payment methods accepted by your clinic. Arranging them by frequency of use is recommended, ensuring quicker access during payment processing. Typically, commonly used payment methods are positioned at the top of the list.

Tips

You can enable tips within this section to encourage gratuity. Configure three suggested tip percentages and choose whether to display the tipping option within the web portal during checkout or invoice payment.

Payment Processors

Noterro supports two primary payment processors – Square and Shift4 (formerly Worldline/Bambora). Clinics can opt to use either or both, with capabilities for processing payments within the application and through the web portal.
