Sending treatment follow-up emails is vital. This ensures that the Patient receives personalized care and support. You can customize the timing and content of these emails through specified steps, including the ability to adjust the days and post-treatment. Practitioners can send and modify the email template according to individual Patient needs.
Emailing follow-ups from a Draft or Finalized Clinical Note
- Log in as Admin or Practitioner.
- Click Patients in the main navigation.
- Click on the Patient's Name.
- Click on Clinical Notes, located on the left side of the navigation bar.
- Open a Draft or Finalized Clinical Note.
- Click on the Three Dots button (top right).
- Click on Follow-up.
- Select Email Now or Email Later and select the number of Days.
- Select Save or Send.
Updating the Treatment Follow-up Template
- Log in as the Admin.
- Click Settings.
- Click on Template.
- Scroll down to the Notification section.
- Click on Treatment Follow-up.
- Update the content.
- Click Save.
Important Note: You can check and confirm if a follow-up has been sent on the Clinical Note listing page or in the Notification Logs within an individual Patient profile.

I do not see a Follow-up on the pull down from the action button. How do you control whether or not the email is even sent to begin with. Do you have to do it each time manually or is it sent automatically. I can't see anything to control that.
The followup button is available in the dropdown Actions menu.
You choose on a per-SOAP note basis whether to send one. You can either send it immediately or on a delay.
I see the save button but where is the send button. Im sure I'm probably looking right at it but I dont see it.
If you click on 'Email Now' the button will change from Save to Send Email.
there is no follow up button now, i know there was before but now its gone, and do these follow up emails go out automatically or does it have to be done manually?

I understand this is done per SOAP note, when looking at the options for email now or selecting a delayed time, how do I ensure that one is NOT sent, I do not see an option for no follow-up email?

Brandy, by default no follow-up email is sent. So unless you set to send an email, one will not be sent.
