Transitioning your clinic appointments from a fixed location to mobile? Here’s what you need to know. Mobile appointments are booked within service areas, which may include additional travel time. Adding travel time might disrupt your existing appointment schedule. We recommend creating a dedicated service area for internal bookings without additional travel time to ensure a smooth transition and avoid schedule conflicts.
Create a Service Area with No Travel Time
Follow these steps to set up a service area without travel time:
- Log in as the Admin.
- Click the Gear icon (top right header).
- Select GO.
- Scroll down to the Service Area section.
- Click Add New.
- Add the Service Area Name (e.g., "West End with no Travel Time").
- Do not check "Allow clients within this service area to book online."
- Add the Service Area and Associated Services.
- Click Save.
Creating such a service area ensures your existing appointments fit seamlessly into their original time slots without conflicts. This strategy provides a smoother transition to mobile services.
