Control the default settings for Voice and SMS reminders on new appointments. Streamlining your booking process is now easier by eliminating the need to update these reminder statuses every time you book an appointment. Remember, you can always enable or disable Voice and SMS reminders on individual appointments.
Enable Voice and SMS Reminders
Configure default reminder settings for new appointments.
- Log in as the Admin.
- Click the Gear icon (top right header).
- Select Templates.
- Scroll to the Patient Notifications section.
- Find Reminders under Appointment and click Text Message.
- Deselect Reminder is enabled button.
- Click Save.
- Click Voice Message.
- Deselect Reminder is enabled button.
- Click Save.
Turn Off Phone Reminders by Default for Future Appointments
Adjust your notification templates to disable phone call reminders for all upcoming appointments.
- Log in as the Admin.
- Click the Gear icon in the top-right header.
- Select Templates.
- Scroll to Patient Notifications.
- Under Appointment > Reminders, click Voice Message.
- Deselect Reminder is enabled.
- Click Save.
This will disable automated phone call reminders for future bookings.
Important Note: Following these steps will disable automated call and SMS reminders for all future bookings. Please note that this setting does not change the reminder status for existing appointments already on your calendar; those must still be updated manually if needed.
