Control whether you want to accept new patients and customize the fields required or optional for them to complete during the sign-up process.
Navigating to Portal Accounts
- Click on the Gear icon (top right header).
- Select Web Portal & App.
- Scroll to the Portal Accounts section.
New Patient Portal Accounts
Portal User Accounts are required to book online. Here, you can set whether or not you want new patients to be able to create accounts.
- If Allow New Patients is checked, then new patients can create accounts.
- If Allow New Patients is unchecked, new patients cannot create accounts, and you can specify an appropriate message that will appear if they attempt to book without an account.
User Form Options
If you allow new patients, you can select the fields displayed when someone creates a user account for online booking. A User Account is required for online booking.
- Check the desired fields: Pronouns, Date of Birth, Address, Mobile Number, Source of Referral.
- Checking Visible: the field will be shown to your patients but they do not need to fill out this information as it is not required.
- Checking Required: the field requires the patient to fill out the necessary information to be able to make a profile.
Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Important Note: First Name, Last Name, and Email are locked and required to be filled out by every patient who is making an account.
