The Practitioner Settings section allows you to manage identification numbers and tax information associated with a practitioner. These settings are commonly used for insurance claims, receipts, and regulatory reporting.
Professional ID Numbers
Professional ID numbers are identifiers assigned by regulatory colleges, licensing bodies, or insurance providers to practitioners. These IDs may be required on:
- Insurance claims
- Receipts
- Practitioner documentation
You can manage, add, or update these identifiers using the Manage button.
Practitioner Taxes
This section allows you to associate tax identification numbers with a practitioner. These numbers may be required for tax reporting or for applying taxes to services provided by that practitioner.
Examples include:
- HST (Harmonized Sales Tax)
- GST (Goods and Services Tax)
Each tax entry can include the tax rate and the practitioner’s tax registration number. You can add, edit, or remove tax information using the Manage button. Keeping this information accurate helps ensure that receipts, invoices, and financial records remain compliant with tax requirements.
