Your profile and security settings control how you appear inside your clinic, how you sign in, and how your account is protected.
Profile Photo and Name
Your profile photo and name are visible to other Practitioners in your clinic and may appear in patient-facing areas such as online booking. Keeping your profile photo current helps patients recognize who they're booking with and gives your clinic a more professional feel.
To update your photo or edit your display name, use the buttons below your profile card.
Auto Login
Auto Login lets you set which account is signed in by default when the app is opened. Selecting "Do not log in automatically" means the login screen will appear each time, prompting the user to choose their account.
Practitioner Signature
Your signature is used on finalized treatment notes and invoices. You can draw or type your signature directly in Noterro, and it will be applied automatically wherever a Practitioner signature is required.
Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication adds a second verification step when you sign in. After entering your password, you'll be prompted to enter a code from your phone's authenticator app. This means that even if your password is compromised, your account remains protected.
Because Noterro stores patient health information, enabling two-factor authentication is strongly recommended. It's one of the most effective steps you can take to protect your clinic's data.
Password
You can reset your password at any time from this section. You'll need to enter your current password before you set up a new one. Choose a strong, unique password that you don't use for other accounts.
Auto-Logout
Auto-Logout controls how long your account stays signed in after a period of inactivity. When the timer expires, you'll be signed out automatically and will need to log in again.
Shorter timeouts provide better security, particularly on shared or public devices. Longer timeouts are more convenient if you're the only person using the device.
