Sometimes, multiple patients may wish to use the same credit card for their invoices. This situation can often occur with family members. To facilitate the use of a single credit card across multiple patient profiles, you need to adjust your settings in Shift4 (formerly Worldline/Bambora).
Using the Same Credit Card for Multiple Patients
- Log in to your Shift4 Account. Visit Shift4 Admin.
- Under the Configuration heading, select Payment Profile Configuration.
- Uncheck the box labelled 'Do not allow the profile to be created with card data duplicated from an existing profile'.
By following these steps, you enable the use of a single credit card across multiple patient accounts, simplifying the payment process for families and groups.
