Starting March 1, 2023, Shift4 (formerly Worldline/Bambora) has updated its minimum monthly fee for merchant accounts to $25. This change aims to simplify billing and ensure a consistent fee structure for all sub-merchants using Shift4's services.
Shift4's Monthly Fee
If the total processing volume fees, including both monthly and per-transaction fees, fall below $25, Shift4 will apply a minimum fee of $25 on the sub-merchant's monthly invoice. Conversely, if a sub-merchant’s processing volume fees exceed $25 per month, the minimum fee will be waived, and standard pricing will continue to apply based on their processing volumes.
For sub-merchants no longer utilizing their accounts and wishing to close them, a closure request can be directed to the Shift4 Customer Care team. Once received, the request will be processed and completed by the Activations team within 2-4 business days.
