Clinics on the Max plan can leverage the Dedicated Phone Number feature. Having a dedicated phone number ensures that outbound SMS and voice calls made on behalf of your clinic originate from a number exclusive to your clinic, not shared with other Noterro clinics. This provides key advantages, including:
- Caller ID Recognition: Increase the possibility of your business name appearing on the caller ID.
- Minimized Spam Risk: Reduce the risk of calls being labeled as spam or fraud by the receiving phone carrier.
- Enhanced Recognition: Patients can save this number in their contacts for your clinic name to appear, minimizing confusion, especially if they are patients at multiple Noterro clinics.
Requesting a Dedicated Phone Number
If you're subscribed to the Max plan and wish to request a dedicated number, please email support@noterro.com from the admin email associated with your clinic. Make sure to include the city in which you want the number registered.
Important Note: Dedicated numbers are not available during a free trial.
Will I Always Have This Dedicated Number?
You will retain this number as long as your Noterro account is active under the Max plan. If your clinic's subscription expires or you switch from the Max plan for more than 30 days, the dedicated number will be released and may no longer be available.
Can I Make Calls or Send Text Messages from This Number?
No, the dedicated number is solely used for Noterro to send Noterro-based messages and phone calls on behalf of your clinic, ensuring your communications remain professional and cohesive.
Can Patients Call the Dedicated Number Back?
Currently, incoming calls to the dedicated number are not received, ensuring that your primary business number remains your main point of contact.
Will the Dedicated Number Be Local to My Area?
Except for US-based clinics, we will register the dedicated number within your local area code whenever possible. US-based clinics will receive a toll-free number.
Will reminders be sent from the dedicated phone number to clients regardless of their location or country?
No. SMS messages and voice calls are only sent to phone numbers within the same country as the clinic, whether you are using a dedicated number feature or not.
Important Note: Noterro cannot port an existing business number to be used as a dedicated number. The dedicated number is a newly registered number within your area code (or toll-free for U.S.), complementing your existing business phone number but not replacing it.
