You may want to delete a clinical note. Only draft notes can be deleted. Once a note is finalized, it will be locked and unable to be deleted. If you need to change a finalized note, you must add an addendum, which is available at the bottom.
Deleting a Draft Note
- Go to the Dashboard header.
- Expand the Draft Clinical Note section.
- Click the Three Dots under the note you want to delete.
- Click Delete and follow the instructions.
Important Note: If you have finalized a note of a Patient you would like to have deleted, you must submit a request to support containing the Clinical Note ID of the notes you would like un-finalized.

hello
I deleted a client in error. I had two accounts set up and was trying to delete one. How can I retrieve the client file?
Sorry once a SOAP note is deleted it cannot be retrieved.
I finalized 8 SOAP notes for insurance reimbursement, then needed to edit all 8 for the attorney.
So, I duplicated the original SOAPs to make the corrections and re-submited the corrected SOAP and invoice. NOW I have two SOAPs for every treatment. UGH! Would it be possible to at least store "trash" if unable to delete. I really need a delete function.
Otherwise, it appears I will have to delete the entire client file and start over (?) in order to have clean originals
Patricia, we have an update coming for this very soon.
