Here are multiple ways you can add or create a clinical note.
Method One: From the Patient Profile
- Click on the Patient's name (from the Patient listing page, Search, etc.).
- Click on the Clinical Notes tab.
- Click on Add New.
Method Two: From the Calendar
- Click on the Patient's Appointment in the Calendar.
- Click on the Add Note button.
Method Three: From the Dashboard
- Go to the Today's Appointments (upper left corner) on the Dashboard.
- Click on the Dropdown menu.
- Click on the Service Name.
- On the slide-out window, click the Add Note button.
Important Note: Once you create a clinical note for a specific Patient, it can't be transferred or moved to a different Patient's profile. Each clinical note gets linked to the Patient profile under which it was created. If you've accidentally created a note for the wrong Patient, you would need to create a new note for the correct Patient and manually transfer the information to the new clinical note.
