Learn how to efficiently add or create a clinical note using multiple methods within the platform.
Adding a Clinical Note
Choose from one of the following methods to add or create a clinical note:
Method One: From the Patient Profile
- Click on the Patient's name (accessible from the Patient listing page, Search, etc.).
- Navigate to the Clinical Notes tab.
- Select Add New.
Method Two: From the Calendar
- Click on the Patient's Appointment in the Calendar.
- Select the Add Note button.
Method Three: From the Home Page
- Go to Today's Appointments (located in the upper left corner) on the Home Page.
- Click on the Dropdown menu.
- Select the Service Name.
- In the slide-out window, click on the Add Note button.
Important Note: Once you create a clinical note for a specific Patient, it cannot be transferred or moved to a different Patient's profile. Each clinical note is linked to the Patient profile under which it was created. If a note is accidentally created for the wrong Patient, a new note must be created for the correct Patient, and the information must be manually transferred to the new clinical note.
