Tips are a way for Patients to show appreciation for their care and can be an important source of additional income for Practitioners. Configuring tips in your Noterro allows you to streamline the collection process. You can enable or disable tips from being asked during checkout, and the predefined percentages.
Configuring Tips
- Login as the Admin.
- Click on the Gear icon (top right header).
- Select Billing.
- Scroll to the Tips section.
- Check Enable Tips.
- Configure the Tip Calculations that show up in Invoices.
- Save.
Displaying Tips in the Web Portal
- Login as the Admin.
- Click on the Gear icon (top right header).
- Select Billing.
- Scroll to the Tips section.
- Select Display tipping option in the Web Portal.
Important Note: Turning off the tip feature is currently the only way to stop clients from adding tips to the Patient Portal.
