As the Admin, you have the ability to set specific permissions for your Assistant, allowing control over what they can access within your clinic.
Locating Assistant Permissions
To review and configure the permissions granted to your Assistant, follow these steps:
- Log in as Admin.
- Navigate to Clinic Settings by clicking on the Gear icon.
- Select Base Setup from the options.
- Scroll down to the Assistant section.
- Select the Assistant for whom you want to view or edit permissions.
- Click the Three Dots next to their name and select Edit to view their permissions.
Editing Patient Details
This permission allows your Assistant to access and modify information within Patient Profiles.
Important Note: Viewing Patient Email Addresses and Phone Numbers is always enabled for Assistant access.
Viewing Clinic Reports
Granting this permission enables your Assistant to view data related to clinic finances and analytics.
Important Note: If this permission is not granted, the Report icon (located in the top left header) will not appear in the Assistant account.
Viewing the Clinic Billing Page
When enabled, this permission allows your Assistant to access the Clinic's Billing information, including Billing Records, Packages, Memberships, Insurance, and Claims. The Assistant can also issue invoices and accept payments on behalf of the clinic.
Important Note: If this permission is not selected, the Billing icon (top left header) will not be visible to the Assistant.
Managing Billing and Insurance
This permission enables your Assistant to create and view invoices, collect payments, and submit insurance claims within the clinic.
Important Note: Without this permission, the Assistant cannot create invoices or accept payments.
Managing Others' Calendar
Allowing your Assistant to manage others' calendars includes the ability to schedule, move, or cancel appointments for clinic Practitioners.
Important Note: If this permission is not granted, the Assistant will not be able to book appointments for Practitioners within the clinic.
