As the Admin, you can set Assistant Permissions for what you allow your Assistant to access within your clinic.
Locating Assistant Permissions
You need to go into the Assistant settings to check what permissions are provided to your Assistant.
- Log in as Admin.
- Go to Clinic Settings (Gear icon).
- Go to Base Set Up.
- Scroll to Assistant.
- Select the Assistant you want to view their Permissions.
Editing Patient Details
Editing Patient details allows your Assistant to go into Patient Profiles and edit information.
Important Note: The View Patient Email Address and Phone Number are locked to allow the Assistant to access this information.
Viewing Clinic Reports
Clinic Reports include allowing your Assistant to view data that involves clinic finances and analytics.
Important Note: When Reports are not permitted, the Report icon (top left header) will not appear on the Assistant account.
Viewing the Clinic Billing Page
The View Clinic Billing Page allows the Assistant to view the Clinic's Billing information. The Assistant will access all the clinic's finances, such as Clinic Billing Records, Packages and Memberships, Insurance and Claims. The Assistant will be able to issue invoices and accept payment on behalf of the clinic.
Important Note: If the View Clinic Billing Page is not selected, the Billing Icon (top left header) will not be shown on the Assistant account.
Managing Billing and Insurance
Managing Billing and Insurance allows your Assistant to create and view invoices, collect payments and submit insurance claims within the clinic.
Important Note: If Manage Billing and Insurance is not selected, the Assistant cannot create an invoice or accept payment.
Managing Other's Calendar
Allowing your Assistant to manage others' calendars involves being able to schedule, move, or cancel appointments for clinic Practitioners.
Important Note: When Manage Other's Calendar is not permitted, the Assistant cannot book appointments for Practitioners in the clinic.
