Adding Insurance Codes to an Invoice

If you want to submit claims or create a Superbill, just add insurance codes (billing, diagnostic, modifier) to an invoice.

Adding Insurance Codes to Invoices

1. Click on the Invoice (for example, INV-3).
2. Click on the Add Insurance button.
3. Enter the Billing Code or the Billing Code Name.
4. Enter the Diagnostic Code or the Diagnostic Code Name.
5. Enter the Modifier Code or the Modifier Code Name.

Important Note: When you add a billing code, the invoice's value is based on the billing code, not the service item. The service item is zeroed out and marked insured.
