Superbills don't affect your rates or whether you’ll get paid for your services. Typically, Practitioners ask Patients for payment immediately after a session. If the Clinician is an out-of-network provider for a Patient, they can give the person a Superbill after they pay. The Patient can then use the Superbill to try to get reimbursed for the session by their insurance company—if their plan offers out-of-network benefits for the services they received.
How to Add a Superbill
- Click on Invoice (example, INV-3).
- Click on the Three Dots in the top right corner.
- Click Superbill.
Important Note: To create a Superbill, you must have insurance as part of your subscription. They're automatically created when you add insurance codes to an invoice in Noterro. Once insurance codes have been added, you can print the Superbill. Also, you cannot add more than one invoice on a Superbill.
