You may run into instances where you cannot select "Swipe, Tap or Insert Card" on an iPad or iPhone when using Square payment processing, even though you're connected to Square. A setting needs to be switched off on the iPad or iPhone.
Trouble Selecting "Swipe, Tap or Insert Card" on Square
- Click on the Gear icon (on your iPad).
- Scroll down the page and click on Safari.
- Scroll down the page and click on Request Desktop Website.
- Ensure the switch is in the Off position for All Websites.
