Manage the permissions for your Practitioners to control what they can access and perform within your clinic's system.
Locating Practitioner Permissions
Inspect and modify the permissions assigned to your Practitioners by accessing their setup options.
- Log in as Admin.
- Go to Clinic Settings (Gear icon).
- Navigate to Base Set Up.
- Scroll to the Practitioners section.
- Select the Practitioner whose permissions you wish to review.
- Click the Three Dots located on the right side of their name.
- Select Edit to view and modify their permissions.
Editing Patient Details
Enabling this option allows Practitioners to access the Patient Profile and make changes to their profile information.
Important Note: The View Patient Email Address and Phone Number permissions are fixed to ensure Practitioners can access critical contact information.
Viewing Clinic Reports
This permission allows Practitioners to access clinical data related to the clinic's financials and analytics.
Important Note: If viewing reports is not permitted, the Report icon (top left header) will not be displayed on the Practitioner's account.
View Clinic Billing Page
Granting this permission allows Practitioners to access the Clinic's Billing information, which includes financial records, packages, memberships, insurance, and claims. Practitioners can also issue invoices and process payments for the clinic.
Important Note: If View Clinic Billing Page is not enabled, the Billing Icon (top left header) will not appear on the Practitioner's account.
Manage Billing and Insurance
Allowing this permission enables Practitioners to create and view invoices, collect payments, and submit insurance claims within the clinic.
Important Note: If this option is deselected, Practitioners cannot create invoices or accept payments.
Manage Other's Calendar
This permission allows Practitioners to schedule, move, or cancel appointments for other Practitioners within the clinic.
Important Note: If not permitted, Practitioners will not be able to transfer appointments from their calendar to others' as the Practitioner will not be able to view the other Practitioners' calendar.
Manage Own Calendar
Enabling this permission allows Practitioners to schedule, move, or cancel their own appointments.
Important Note: If disabled, Practitioners cannot create or move appointments within their calendar. They can only view their calendar and create clinical notes via the pop-out window.
Restrict to Own Patients Only
This restriction limits access to Patient profiles and clinical notes to the Practitioners who are responsible for the Patient's treatment.
