Updating Pricing on Future Appointments

When a service is booked, the price is set according to the rate at the time of booking. If your prices have changed and you want future appointments to reflect the updated rates, you can update them all at once. This is useful when you have adjusted pricing but want to ensure upcoming appointments align with the new rates.

How to Update Prices on Future Appointments

1. Log in as Admin.
2. Navigate to Base Setup.
3. Locate the Update Prices button:
4. Click on the button, Update future appointments to reflect current prices. 
5. Read the Warning. A modal will inform you that this action can't be undone. Read the warning thoroughly to understand the implications of this update.
6. Complete the Update. Once you acknowledge the warning, complete the update. This will automatically adjust the prices for all future appointments.

Important note: Updating prices across many appointments can take time —especially for larger clinics. Typically, this may take anywhere from 10 to 20 seconds. After clicking 'Update Pricing,' the button will say 'Pending.' This message indicates the system is processing the change. Once it's complete, it will notify you how many appointments were successfully updated with the new pricing.
