You might need to delete a Patient from your clinic's records, especially if the record is no longer necessary or was created by mistake. Note that a Patient can only be deleted if they do not have any clinical notes or billing history.
Method One: Deleting a Patient from the Search Bar
- Log in as the Admin or a Practitioner with permission to edit Patients.
- Click Search in the main navigation.
- Search for the Patient and access their Profile.
- Click the Three dots adjacent to the Patient's name.
- Click Delete.
Method Two: Deleting a Patient from the Patient Profile Page
- Log in as the Admin or a Practitioner with editing Patient permissions.
- Navigate to the Patient tab.
- Locate the Patient.
- Click the Three dots next to the Patient's name.
- Click Delete.
Important Note: The delete button is only available for Patients without any records in the clinic. Deleting a Patient is a permanent action. If a Patient has a finalized note that cannot be deleted, please contact us at support@noterro.com to have it reverted to a draft so it can be deleted.
