When adding a service to an invoice, the treatment date is automatically set to the invoice's creation date. Depending on when the service was provided, you may need to change this date.
Putting a Treatment Date on an Invoice
Adjust the treatment date for accuracy on your invoices.
- Click on Add Invoice (from Add New, Billing Activities, Appointment, or the Clinic Patient Profile page).
- Find the Patient you want the invoice for.
- Add Service under invoice items.
- In the line item (the listing of the service), click on the Date.
- Select the date from the calendar.
Make sure to review the treatment date to ensure it accurately reflects the date the service was provided, as this affects billing precision and compliance.
