Ensure that your patients can easily settle their bills and make outstanding payments. There are three convenient methods available for your clinic to assist patients in paying and settling their invoices.
Three Methods for Patients to Pay Invoices
Method One: Billing Activity
- Click on Billing (top left navigation).
- Select the Invoice to be paid (for example, INV-3).
- Click Pay.
- Click the Add Payment Method button.
- Select Payment Method.
- Click Pay.
Method Two: Patient Profile Page
- Click on the Patient's name.
- Click on the Billing tab.
- Click on the Pay icon in the line where the Invoice (for example, INV-3) is located.
- Click Add Payment Method.
- Select Payment Method.
- Click Pay.
Method Three: An Appointment
- Click on the Appointment.
- Click on the Invoice (for example, INV-3).
- Click Pay.
- Click Add Payment Method.
- Select Payment Method.
- Click Pay.
Important Note: To process a payment, click Quick Pay and select a payment method. You can also send the invoice to the Patient by clicking the three dots above the Pay button and selecting Print, Email, or PDF.
When selecting a payment method, note that the date defaults to today. If you're recording a payment that was received on a different date — for example, a payment from last week — update the date to reflect when the payment was actually received.
