Efficiently manage and batch your EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) files in Noterro to submit claims to clearinghouses like Trizetto, Availity, Claim.MD, or Office Ally. Follow these steps to streamline the process and ensure your claims are ready for submission.
Access the Billing Section
- Navigate to Billing from the top left navigation.
- Locate the Claims section on the Billing page.
Select Claims to Batch
- In the Claims section, you can batch claims from the Draft or Submitted status.
- To batch claims from the Draft section, click on Draft.
Filter Claims
- Filter claims by Date Range to narrow down the claims for batching. This is useful for weekly submissions.
- You can also filter by Insurer to select claims from specific insurance providers.
Review and Correct Claim Errors
- Ensure that all claims are error-free before batching. Any errors will be highlighted.
- If there are errors, correct them in line. For example, if a diagnostic code is missing, click on the claim to view and fix the issue.
- Once all errors are corrected, the claims will be ready to batch.
Download EDI Files
- After selecting the claims, click on the Download EDI button.
- Claims with unresolved issues will not be included in the batch.
- Upon clicking Download, Noterro will provide a summary of the downloaded claims and confirm the number within the batch.
- The selected EDI file will then be downloaded to your device.
Verify Claim Status
- After downloading, claims will move to the Submitted section in the system.
- Track them in the Submitted section.
- Once the EOB (Explanation of Benefits) returns, proceed with the payment process.
Batching EDI files in Noterro streamlines your claims submissions, enabling you to manage and submit them efficiently to clearinghouses.
