Snippets allow you to auto-populate sentences, phrases, paragraphs, etc., that you've created into a clinical note using a keyboard shortcut. Snippets are specific to each practitioner and can only be used for clinical notes.
Adding Snippets
- Log in as a Practitioner.
- Click on your Initials or Image in the top right header.
- Select Charting.
- Click on Snippets.
- Click on Add Snippet.
- Add a Shortcut.
- Add Content.
- Click Save or Save & Add More.

Adding Other Practitioner's Snippets Associated with Your Clinic
- Log in as a Practitioner.
- Click on your Initials or Image in the top right header.
- Select Charting.
- Click on Snippets.
- Click Add Snippet.
- Click Browse Snippet Library.
- Choose either Noterro Snippets or a Practitioner's snippets.
- Click on the "+" to add one at a time or Add All.
Using the Snippet in a Clinical Note
You can search by a shortcut name or part of a phrase to pull up your list of shortcuts.
- Add a Clinical Note.
- When in the text field, click the forward slash key "/," start typing the shortcut, and then select your Snippet.

Important Note: Your shortcuts will automatically be added to the Snippets Library. Snippets can only be shared within the clinic. Co-workers can access this list and add Snippets to their lists.
