You may need to apply a refund for an Invoice that was paid with Square. You will first need to adjust the invoice in Noterro and then apply a refund in Square.
Step One: Make Adjustments in Noterro
There are 3 primary ways in which you can issue a refund
Method One: From the Billing Activities page
- Click on the Money Icon (Billings Activity) in the left navigation
- Click on the Invoice (for example, INV-3)
- Click on the Three Dots in the top right corner
- Click on Refund
- Enter the Amount of the refund and select the Refund Method
- Click Refund
Method Two: From the Clinic Patient Profile page
- Click on the Patient's name
- Click on the Billing tab
- Click on the Invoice (for example, INV-3)
- Click on the Three Dots in the top right corner
- Click on Refund
- Enter the Amount of the refund and select the Refund Method
- Click Refund
Method Three: From an Appointment
- Click on an Appointment form the calendar
- Click on the Invoice (for example, INV-3)
- Click on the Three Dots in the top right corner
- Click on Refund
- Enter the Amount of the refund and select the Refund Method
- Click Refund
Step Two: Apply a Refund in Square
- Login into your Square account
- Click on Transactions
- Select the Invoice
- Click Issue Refund
- Select Amount
- Enter the Amount
- Click Next
- Select Reason for Refund
- Click Refund
