Would this allow clients to be able to but a hold on an appointment with a credit card when booking online?
Nicole, not initially but that will be available later this summer.
Will this allow clients to pay online through soapvault online booking before their appointment? Then the receipt can be sent after? Or do they pay after and the invoice will have to be closed manually by the practitioner and send the receipt then? Are the payments integrated with the invoicing or will the practitioner have to follow up and continuously update accounts receivable? I would love to see a walkthrough of how all this works.
I have created ticket to answer all your questions.
Im In the UK, these guys dont seem to service the UK, Wo else can i Use? I have my own Provider, can i use them instead?
(Plus these guys are expensive, I have a great Company you could Team up with in the UK if interested)
What is the purpose of the financial feature? is there a way to have the client pay a portion of the appointment before it can be booked to reduced the no-shows. I currently use full slate and it is able to charge the card $15 before it will book the appointment.
Those features are coming. We are releasing the billing system features in stages. The next stage will allow you to choose online booking payment policies like requiring a credit card to make an appointment or charging for the appointment at the time of booking.
so currently all the feature will allow us to do is pay invoices. I have a lot of trouble with new clients not showing up for appointments. You said a feature will be out later this summer. What will it allow us to do. Hold the appointment with a credit card, charge the credit card a fee pay for the full appointment?
Initially, you will be able to hold the appointment with a credit card or pay for the appointment. Charging a partial fee likely won't be part of the first release of the feature.
Do we have a date when this feature will be available?
We don't have a specific release date, but it's coming within the next few weeks.
I am curious to know if this feature is coming out? Its been a few weeks since my last check-in. We may have to leave SOAP vault if this feature is not out soon.
Sorry Nicole, we don't have a specific release date yet, but sometime this quarter.
How much is it to use Bambora w/ Soapvault?
Hi Michael, Bambora's processing fee is 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. No setup or monthly fee.
Is this feature out yet?
Would this allow clients to be able to put a hold on an appointment with a credit card when booking online?
We anticipate this will be launched be mid October.
Thanks
Your SOAP Vault Team
Is it possible to have client submit their credit information with their online booking?
This is in development and coming in a few weeks. You will also be able to define a payment policy by selecting one of the options below:
I am wondering if this has been rolled out yet? If we have the ability to take a partial payment at time of booking?
Yes, it has. You can configure your clinic's online booking payment policy to be one of the following when a patient books online:
Can I make it so that if a client wants to use the online feature they have to pay the processing fee (a $3.00 convenience fee?). otherwise they could have the option of paying me directly without a fee. Is this common practice or do most practitioners take the hit to give clients an easy option?
It would require a $117.00 sale to cause a $3.00 fee. Most practitioners from what we see just absorb the cost of the transaction within the price of their service.
