Practitioners may want to delete or cancel an appointment on their calendar due to scheduling conflicts or changes in availability. There are a couple of ways you can do this.
Method One: Deleting or Cancelling Appointments on the Calendar
- Click on the Appointment.
- Once the appointment window pops out, click Delete.
- You'll have the option to Notify Patients or not.
- Click the "Yes, Cancel" button to cancel or delete the appointment.
Method Two: Deleting or Cancelling Appointments from the Patient Profile Page
- Click on the Patient’s name from the Patient Profile Page or search in the navigation bar.
- Click on the Appointments tab.
- Click on the Appointment.
- Once the appointment window pops out, click Delete.
- You'll have the option to Notify Patients or not.
- Click the "Yes, Cancel" button to cancel or delete the appointment.
Important Note: There is no simple way to recover deleted appointments. We don't have a report for appointment statuses, so please be sure to check multiple times before deleting or cancelling the appointment.
