Patients/clients can only be deleted if there are no clinical notes (draft or finalized) or invoices associated with them. If a patient/client has a finalized note, you need to contact us to have it reverted to draft so that you can delete the note. You will be able to delete the patient/client profile once all of the notes have been deleted and no invoices have been created.
To delete a patient, follow these steps:
- Log in as Admin or a Practitioner with Editing Patient Permissions
- Click on the Patient's/Client's name
- Click the Three Dots in the top right corner
- Click Delete
Note: Deleting a patient/client is permanent.

I was trying to move an appointment and the clicked twice. This ended up too easily deleting the entire patient intake. not good.
That was way too easy to delete all the patient info.
I don't see any option under the drop down menu to delete a patient, was this removed. If so-- how do I delete a patient.
Patients can only be deleted if they have no SOAP notes. Are you sure you don't have any SOAP notes for that patient?
i also am unable to delete a client that has no soap note or even an intake form. there is not delete option on the drop down menu
Is there a way to find deleted patient information?
Rachel, no there is not. Patient deletions are permanent.
